I offer a variety of weekly lesson lengths to accommodate varying skill levels and needs:

30 minutes – $30

45 Minutes – $45

Full Hour – $60.00

I prefer to schedule lessons over the phone so that we can get to know each other a bit, and talk about your individual needs and what you are looking for in voice lessons. 

Lesson Payment

     Please pay for the month in advance.
Cash is appreciated.

Missed Lessons

     I am happy to reschedule lessons to accommodate anticipated absences.  Please inform me of any anticipated absence at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson.  This allows me enough time to offer the lesson time to another student for a make-up lesson.  Lessons canceled after 9:00am the day of the lesson will be charged and will not be made up.  Lessons that I miss or that fall on holidays will be made up.  I much prefer to reschedule a lesson than to miss a week.  Continuity is important for vocal growth.

Supplies

     Please bring a notebook of staff paper to all of your lessons.  In this notebook we will write down all of your vocal exercises and the things you want to remember while practicing them at home.  It is important to remember to bring your notebook to all of your lessons so that we can be consistent with your exercises.

No Stink!

     Please do not wear perfume, cologne, smelly lotions or hair sprays on the day of your lesson. I am allergic to those things and may not be able to teach you if you stink!Opera Pigs

Practice

     In order to make adequate progress be sure to allow yourself the time and the space to practice daily. Do your exercises carefully and consistently, avoiding distractions. It is important to feel free to experiment with your voice and make all the noises you want to make without the fear of bothering someone else in your home and feeling like you have to be quiet. Try to find a time of day, or a room far off where no one will be bothered by your singing, and then sing to your heart’s content!
